Local Bites, Chandler, AZ

Over the past few years, the population of Chandler (and the rest of the Valley) has grown tremendously. As a result, several restaurateurs are bringing their unique ideas and creations to the table, giving us plenty of chances to taste local cuisine. Here are some of our favorites here at SunWest Dental:

Barrelhouse American Kitchen & Cocktails

A great place for the cocktail enthusiast, Barrelhouse boasts an extensive list of signature drinks arranged on the menu by flavor profile. The food is also locally sourced and delicious, especially the sweet pasilla chile shrimp. Catch them during happy hour as well, which runs Mondays through Saturdays from 4 to 6:30. Pay them a visit at 2050 N Alma School Rd right here in Chandler!

SanTan Brewing Company

Craft beer has become a cultural phenomenon in recent years, and the Valley is no exception to the trend. One of the most popular microbreweries can be found right here in downtown Chandler. San Tan Brewing has been open since 2007 and on top of perfecting the art of the brewpub, they also offer a diverse collection of pub dishes with a Mexican flavor. They even have a gluten-free menu available. Next time you’re downtown, stop in for a pint and try their Stuffed Blue Bayou Burger. Find them at 8 S San Marcos Plaza in downtown Chandler.
